Timex MK1 for J.Crew TW2Y78500 (TW2Y78500QY) is a 36 mm quartz analogue watch created by Timex in collaboration with J.Crew. It marks the brands’ first project together in more than a decade. The design draws from Timex Mark 1 field watches made for the US military, recast by J.Crew with a lighter, summer-minded feel. On the matte white dial, a brook trout illustration is adapted from an original work by the brand’s watercolour artist. The brushed gold-tone stainless-steel case measures 10 mm thick and sits comfortably on the wrist. A domed acrylic crystal lends the watch a vintage character. Full Arabic numerals, a rail-track minute ring and sword-shaped hands keep the dial easy to read. The dark brown braided genuine-leather strap references J.Crew’s familiar braided belts of the 1990s. The 36 mm case wears comfortably on slimmer wrists and suits unisex styling. Its 50-metre water resistance is suitable for everyday wear, while the J.Crew engraving on the steel case back completes the collaboration. Sold out on its release day, the TW2Y78500 is not easily found in Türkiye. It is offered at sutore following an authenticity check.
