On Running Cloudmonster 2 All Black is the fully black take on the brand’s neutral road running shoe with maximum cushioning. The Cloudmonster line’s distinctive geometric sole brings its cloud-like running concept to a more pronounced scale. Also known as Triple Black, the Black/Black colourway gives the silhouette a pared-back finish that works just as easily beyond running. The mesh upper helps keep the foot ventilated, while the vamp, tongue and collar lining use 100% recycled polyester. The men’s model weighs approximately 300g. On’s largest CloudTec® pods to date work alongside a dual-density Helion™ Superfoam midsole, softening impact over longer distances while maintaining a responsive feel underfoot. A nylon-blend Speedboard® plate encourages forward motion, and the 6mm drop supports a balanced transition. The updated rubber outsole fills the vertical gaps found on the previous model, helping prevent stones from getting trapped. It is particularly suited to heel strikers and long-distance training. The toe box is wider than on the first Cloudmonster. Those with wider feet can opt for their usual size, while runners who found their ideal fit in the original Cloudmonster may consider going half a size down.
