On Running’s Cloudmonster 2 Tempest Horizon is a men’s sneaker that reworks maximum cushioning for long-distance road running and everyday wear. Its blue-grey Tempest and Horizon palette draws on horizon lines and mountain landscapes. Produced in limited numbers, this colourway balances the Cloudmonster 2’s distinctive sole with a quieter, more technical look. The upper is made from 100% recycled polyester technical mesh, offering a light, breathable fit. At approximately 300g, it feels balanced underfoot. On’s largest CloudTec® unit to date is used here, paired with a dual-density Helion™ Superfoam midsole and an additional forefoot foam layer to soften landings. A nylon-blend Speedboard® supports a controlled forward transition. Compared with the original model, the wider and more stable platform inspires confidence through lateral movement. A 6mm drop promotes an even stride, while revised outsole channels address the stone-trapping issue associated with the first model. The toe box is wider and roomier than before. Those with narrow or standard-width feet may prefer half a size down, while wide feet should find the true-to-size fit suitable. This limited colourway is not easy to find in Turkey.
