Longchamp’s Le Pliage Original Maletín S is the compact, handheld version of the house’s iconic foldable briefcase. Developed by Philippe Cassegrain with Japanese origami in mind, the Le Pliage line carries what is needed and leaves the rest behind. Its signature brown Russian leather handles and flap are finished with an equestrian-embossed brass snap, lending a classic note to the sporty shape. Light enough to carry between meetings, yet organised enough for a full day. Also known as the Le Pliage Original Document Holder S, this Longchamp small handbag has a 37 x 28 x 8 cm main compartment for A4 documents, a tablet and slim laptops up to 13–14 inches. The water-resistant recycled polyamide canvas body weighs approximately 190 grams, while the open interior pocket keeps smaller items separate. A top zip sits beneath the snap-fastened leather flap. There is no shoulder strap, so it is designed to be carried by hand. When not in use, it folds down to 14.5 x 21 x 2.5 cm, taking up little more space than a paperback.
