The Nike Book 2 “Just Book” is Devin Booker’s second signature basketball shoe, pairing on-court performance with a considered design reference. Finished in Varsity Royal, the model draws from the Don C x Air Jordan 2 “Varsity Royal” worn by Booker during the 2015 Final Four. That influence appears through the quilted diamond leather across the toe box, side panels and heel. University Red accents interrupt the otherwise tonal finish only at the insole and outsole logos. A suede Swoosh, waxed laces and mesh tongue add texture to the restrained palette. The heel-to-forefoot Air Zoom unit delivers responsive cushioning, while the Cushlon foam midsole maintains a softer feel through the game. Midfoot support helps keep the foot secure during sharp changes of direction. Underfoot, Air Force 1-inspired pivot circles and a modern herringbone pattern keep traction controlled. The standard version carries the IR6442-400 code, while the outdoor-focused IR6444-400 EP uses a more durable rubber outsole. Early wearer feedback suggests staying true to size for a more stable fit.
