13 Retro Wings

The Jordan 13 Retro Wings is a special Air Jordan 13 created for the Jordan Wings programme, which supports young people through education and scholarships. It draws on the sense of renewal that comes with the first day of school. As the black denim on the side panels wears down or is carefully cut along its stitch guides, colourful Wings Legacy graphics emerge beneath. Smooth black leather covers the toe and mudguard, with Tec Tuff reinforcement at high-wear areas. The silhouette’s panther-paw-inspired sole remains intact. Underfoot, Zoom Air and Phylon bring softness, while the carbon-fibre plate adds support. Purple, blue, green and orange traction panels are deliberately arranged asymmetrically across the black rubber outsole. Illustrated insoles and an updated cat-eye hologram combining the number 23 with the Wings emblem extend the story into the finer details. The fit is true to size, though those with wider feet may prefer half a size up. Limited to 12,000 pairs worldwide, this is a release that rarely reaches Türkiye. Finished with a special Wings box, the IX1872-001 is available at sutore following an authenticity check. As the black upper reveals its colours through wear, the pair gradually becomes more personal. Few models offer that kind of evolution.
