Oura Ring 5 Black is OURA’s fifth-generation (Gen 5) smart ring, bringing health and everyday tracking into a jewellery-like design. It has a volume that is 40% more compact than Ring 4 and, at 2 to 2.69 grams, is barely noticeable on the hand. Designed in Finland, its aerospace-grade titanium body is finished with tungsten carbide PVD coating for scratch resistance and a deep black sheen. Within its 6.09mm profile are dual tri-LED sensors, photodetectors, a digital body temperature sensor and an accelerometer. Through the Oura app, sleep, stress, activity, cycle and live workout data can be viewed on iOS and Android devices. With 100-metre water resistance, it can be worn in the shower or pool. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and Airplane Mode are also included. Battery life reaches six to nine days, depending on size and use. Oura Membership is required for advanced insights. Oura Ring 5 Black sizing differs from the previous generation. For accurate fit and data tracking, a 24-hour trial with the current Sizing Kit is recommended.
