Oura Ring 4 Silver is the fourth-generation smart ring designed by OURA Ring for everyday health tracking. Designed in Finland, it keeps its technology within a classic jewellery-like form. The hypoallergenic, BPA-free titanium body and silver PVD finish remain deliberately understated. Sensor bumps on the inner surface have been fully smoothed out, a difference most noticeable during sleep. Smart Sensing collects data through 18 signal paths that adapt to finger shape and real-time activity. Its sensors track heart rate, HRV, breathing and SpO2, while a digital temperature sensor monitors deviations in body temperature. Compared with Gen 3, data loss in overnight heart-rate readings is 31% lower and 30% lower for SpO2. The 2.88mm body is water-resistant to 100 metres, with a battery life of five to eight days per charge. Sizing does not correspond to standard jewellery measurements, and half sizes are unavailable. A minimum 24-hour trial with the Oura Ring 4 Sizing Kit is recommended, with the smaller size advised for those between sizes.
